PQC Migration Budget Builder

Most organizations have to put a PQC number into a budget cycle before they have a cryptographic inventory to price it from. This tool is for that gap. It turns the obligations that apply to you and a rough picture of your estate into a budget request you can defend before discovery, with every assumption visible and editable.

Have three things to hand: a rough count of the applications that need migration work, your HSM and endpoint counts, and your annual IT budget. Rough is fine; the first stage gate replaces the counts with the inventory’s figures. If you have nothing yet, load the example and edit it. An afternoon is enough for a first draft of the paper.

How the model works, where each unit cost comes from, what the cross-checks mean and where the result will be wrong about your estate: I explain all of it in the guide to the Budget Builder. The figures follow my article Nobody Can Tell You What PQC Migration Costs and Phase 0 of the Applied Quantum PQC Migration Framework. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
