Global PQC Migration Timeline
I built this tool because tracking post-quantum cryptography deadlines across jurisdictions had become a research project in itself. It now holds more than 150 milestones, mandates and deadlines from 24 jurisdictions, plus the G7, NATO, international bodies and the largest technology providers. They don’t always agree on timelines, algorithm choices or whether hybrid cryptography should be used.
The timeline maps every PQC-related deadline I’ve been able to verify against primary sources: US federal mandates (EO 14412, OMB M-26-15, the DoW PQC Strategy, CNSA 2.0, NIST IR 8547), national guidance (UK NCSC, the EU coordinated roadmap, BSI, ANSSI, ASD, Canada, the Netherlands, Japan, India, Singapore’s CSA and others), financial supervisors (SAMA, HKMA, MAS, FINMA, Bank of Israel, G7 Cyber Expert Group) and industry commitments and standards (Google, Cloudflare, Microsoft, OpenSSL, IETF). Each marker links to my analysis of that deadline on PostQuantum.com; for the few instruments I haven’t covered yet, it links to the primary source.

Why this matters
The earliest deadline in any jurisdiction you operate in is your effective deadline. A multinational with US defense, French and Australian business does not have until 2035. It has until January 2027 for the CNSA 2.0 acquisition gate, 2027 for ANSSI’s PQC requirement for product qualification and the end of 2030 for Australia. This tool makes those overlapping obligations visible at a glance.
